Do I need an internet connection?
No. BakeCost works fully offline: costing, orders, customers, pantry and reports all live on your phone. The account and the cloud are optional.
Do I have to create an account?
No. You can use the whole app without signing up. Create a free account and you also back your work up and restore it on a new phone.
Is it really free?

Who can see my recipes and my prices?
Only you. Without an account your data never leaves the phone. With one, it syncs to your own account and nowhere else — and you can delete that account from the app whenever you want.
What happens when I change phones?
With a free account you restore everything on the new phone. Without one, you can create a backup file from More → Backup and carry it with you.
